Moon Stag (Glastonbury Moon) is a mystical tribute to the unique energies of Glastonbury, often regarded as the heart chakra of the Earth. Inspired by watching the sunset from the Tor, the ancient Isle of Avalon, this artwork blends vibrant sunset hues with the luminous presence of the moon. The stag stands as a sacred guardian within this magical landscape, embodying strength, spirituality, and deep earth connection.
Glastonbury has its own unique energies and is the heart chakra of the Earth and watching the sunset from the Tor ( the Isle of Avalon) is indeed a magical experience and something which I have tried to create in my paintings with the colours of the sunset and the vibrancy of the moon.
