Beside The Sea (Part 2) Painted on canvas as part of a dynamic coastal series. Created using a pouring technique with silicone and layered paint to form a textured relief effect within the swirling sea. The tall panel format gives the composition a strong vertical presence.
The view is from the water’s edge as waves sweep onto the sandy shore. Five brightly coloured beach huts stand in a cheerful row near the top of the rise, set beneath a soft blue sky. The white sun sits higher above the horizon, casting late afternoon light across the scene and creating a sense of warmth and openness.
