Beside the Sea (Part 1) Painted on canvas, it is one of a striking series created using a pouring technique with silicone and layered paint to achieve a textured, relief effect within the swirling sea. The tall panel format enhances the sense of movement and shoreline perspective.
The scene captures a view from the sea as waves surge onto the sandy beach. Four brightly coloured beach huts stand in a cheerful row near the top of the rise, set against a deep blue sky. A large white sun lowers toward the horizon, radiating light into the darkening evening.
